Description

The town I live in sits directly on the Mississippi River.  This view is looking out from town, west over the river at sunset.  A bend in the river can be seen in the distance.  Soft and medium soft pastels over a value underpainting of hard pastels that was washed with alcohol on a sepia toned Canson Mi-teintes Touch sanded board.
