Wow. It's been a while since I've been here.  Not by choice.  I've had some internet connectivity issues, most of which seem to have been resolved today.  Hopefully, I'll be back up to speed soon.   I've also been hard at work cartooning for a webcomic that a friend and I have started working on.  I hope I'll be able to share some of that art soon.  Not sure when it will be up and running yet.  We're still in the infancy stages.

I realize it's been a really long time since I have written anything in my journal, so here's an update.  I don't really have much to say, so I guess I won't say much.  I'll just say this:  My art has been all over the place lately.      I'll draw a cartoon, then I'll take a photo, then I'll paint an landscape.  I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.  I think it's always fun to experiment, yet I've heard so much about artist needing to stick with one thing.  I don't know.  I guess I'll figure it out.      I really wanted to be a cartoonist for a long time.  I find it so daunting.  I'm really critical of my work and I kind

Today, I am sad.  A little piece of me died when Adam Yauch (MCA of the Beastie Boys) passed away.  The Beastie's have been one of the  ever present soundtracks of my life since junior high.  I feel for his family.  A daughter should not have to lose her father so early. You will be missed MCA.
